St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival

Wichita's annual St. Patrick's Day celebration returns to Old Town and Douglas Avenue for a full day of Irish-themed festivities. The parade kicks off at 11am on Douglas Avenue, running the full route from Main Street to Seneca, bringing marching bands, floats, and community groups through the heart of downtown.

After the parade, Old Town Square comes alive with live Irish music stages featuring local and touring acts throughout the afternoon and evening. A craft beer garden showcasing Kansas breweries will be set up in the square, alongside a wide selection of food vendors offering everything from traditional Irish fare to local favorites.

Families will find a dedicated kids zone with face painting, games, and activities running all day. Free parking is available at downtown parking garages throughout the event. Whether you're Irish or just Irish for the day, this is one of Wichita's most beloved annual traditions.
